REDCap Staging Server Extended Maintenance (15th to 26th May 2026)

The NHG-REDCap Staging Server will be shut down for the following period to facilitate urgent maintenance works.

All Users must log out from the Staging Server by 9am on 15 May 2026.

HOW USERS WILL BE AFFECTED

  • There will be NO USER ACCESS to the STAGING SERVER during the Shutdown period.

  • Due to the complex nature of the upgrade this time, there is a high risk that all REDCap project designs could be lost from the Staging Server.

WHAT USERS NEED TO DO

  • IMPORTANT: Users who are testing or building a project on the Staging Server, which could be deployed onto the Production server, are STRONGLY ADVISED to BACK UP / EXPORT their project build.

  • Download the REDCap Server Shutdown - User Survival Guide (v4) for details on how to back up your Project design. (NHG Intranet/HVPN access required)

  • As the Staging Server is intended only for learning and testing purposes, there are no plans to backup any existing project data since it would be only test/dummy data. All data on the Staging Server will be wiped.

  • All Users must log out from the Staging Server by 9am on 15 May 2026.
