REDCap Projects
Who can apply
The REDCap Project Request Form must be signed by the REDCap Project Owner, who is also the NHG Principal Investigator, for a research activity that has obtained DSRB / IRB research ethics approval.
Criteria for a successful Project Request
These are the criteria for a successful Project Request submission.
(1) Valid/Activated REDCap Production Server User Account
The REDCap Project Owner (ie: Study PI) is able to login to
their activated* REDCap Production Server User Account.
* Submitting a REDCap User Account Request DOES NOT imply that the NHG REDCap Account(s) has been activated. User Accounts are valid for use ONLY AFTER the user has followed the instructions to login and activate the User Account.
(2) Valid Ethics Approval
The Research activity has valid research ethics approval *,
or is able to show documentary evidence that it does not require DSRB Ethics
approval under specific DSRB policies.
* includes NHG Standing Database (SDB) Registration for potential future research. Relevant Approval Letters must be submitted together with the REDCap Project Request Form.
(3) Provided all Supporting Documents in Submission
All of the following Supporting Documents have been put into a single
ZIP file for submission.
(a) REDCap Project Request Form (as a PDF)
(b) Latest Ethics Approval Letter (as a PDF)
(c) REDCap Project XML file (Metadata only) (if applicable)
REDCap Project Requests which do not meet the above criteria may be delayed while we contact the Project Owner with our clarifications.
