Who can apply
The REDCap Project Request Form must be signed by the REDCap Project Owner, who is also the NHG Health Principal Investigator, for a research activity that has obtained DSRB / IRB research ethics approval.
Criteria for a successful Project Request
There are three main criteria for a successful Project Request submission. These are outlined below.
(1) Activated REDCap (Production Server) User Account
The REDCap Project Owner must be ABLE TO LOGIN to their activated* REDCap (Production Server) User Account.
* What is an Activated REDCap User Accounts?

The REDCap User Accounts are valid for use ONLY AFTER the User is able to login to the REDCap Server to activate the Account.

Simply submitting a REDCap User Account Request DOES NOT imply that the REDCap User Account(s) have been created or activated.
(2) Valid Research Ethics Approval
The Research Activity has been granted valid Research Ethics Approval from the NHG-DSRB (or equivalent) or is able to show documentary evidence that it does not require DSRB Ethics approval under specific DSRB policies. (Valid Approval includes NHG Standing Database (SDB) Registration for potential future research.)
The Approval letter must state clearly the following details:

The Study Title
-
Name of NHG-PI
-
The Approval Period (Start & End Dates) for the Study
(3) Supporting Documents
All of the following Supporting Documents have been put into a single
ZIP file for submission.
(a) REDCap Project Request Form (as a PDF)
(b) Latest Ethics Approval Letter (as a PDF)
(c) REDCap Project XML file (Metadata only) (if applicable)

IMPORTANT: REDCap Project Requests which do not meet the above criteria will be delayed while we contact the Project Owner with our clarifications.
