NHG REDCap Project Data Classification Audit

WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

• NHG-REDCap is currently conducting a Data Classification Audit of all REDCap Projects on the Production Server.

• All REDCap Project Owners will need to review and assess the data being captured in their REDCap Projects and provide the appropriate Data Classification.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE

• We recommend that REDCap Project Owners download the REDCap Project Data Classification Submission Guide here (NHG Intranet access required) for more information on how to assess and determine the appropriate Data Classification for their REDCap Project(s). 

WHO CAN MAKE THE SUBMISSION

• All REDCap Project Owners will need to make a submission for each of their REDCap Projects on the Production Server.

• However, the REDCap Project Owner may authorize a Representative from the Project Team to complete the Submission on their behalf.

• IMPORTANT: The Representative must have reviewed the REDCap Project's Data Classification WITH the REDCap Project Owner and have obtained their authorization to be their Representative BEFORE making the submission on their behalf.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE

•  The Deadline for the submission of the REDCap Project’s Data Classification is Friday 1 August 2025.
